Let Us Grow

Tzlil V'Zemer
Volume Five - Let Us Grow

There is a time for all good things
And there's a joy that music brings
There was a moment when it all began

There is a reason and a rhyme
And we can see that throughout time
We are your children and we need to learn...

CHORUS:
Let us grow, let us know
Be the eyes we need to see
Teach and guide us lovingly
Help us to be all we can be

For we have known since time began
That every child born to man
Can be a leader if he feels he can.

You are the confidence we need
And with each smile we plant a seed
As you encourage us and lend your hand...

CHORUS...

We are your tomorrows
All your joys and sorrows
Tell me how to know you
Let me try to show you
Tell me why your sighing
Can't you see me trying

Do you know the answers
I will try my son, your life's just begun
But together we'll find the way

Help us find the answers, how to be
We'll build a better world for you and me
Wait and see

Yes there's a time for all good things
And there's a joy that music brings
There was a moment when it all began

There is a reason and a rhyme
And we can see that throughout time
We are your children and we need to leatn

Let us grow, make us strong and free
There's a light that we're fighting to see

The little bird

Artist: Tzlil V'zemer

Album: Wake up Yidden

The little bird is calling,

It wishes to return.

The little bird is wounded,

It cannot fly, but yearns.

It's captured by the vultures,

Crying bitterly.

Oh, to see my nest again,

Oh, to be free.

The little bird of silver,

So delicate and rare.

Still chirps among the vultures,

Outshining all that's there.

How long, how long it suffers,

How long will it be.

Oh. when will come the eagle,

To set the little bird free.

The little bird is Yisroel,

The vultures are our foes.

The painful wound is Golus,

Which we all fell and know.

The nest is Yerushalaim,

Where we year to be once more.

And the eagle is Moshiach,

Whom we are waiting for.

Oh Moshiach

Artist: Tzlil V'zemer

Album: Ki Nicham

What can we do that will help bring Moshiach,

Unite ourselves with Ahavas Yisroel.

Understanding and respecting each other,

Our Mikdash will then be rebuilt. (x 2)

Oh Moshiach, how we want you now,

We waited, we hoped and we prayed,

Every Yid is calling Melech Moshiach,

Ad Mosai, how long must we wait.

Oh Moshiach, how we want you now,

Hurry and open the gate,

Please return us to our homeland, Yisroel,

Ad Mosai, how long must we wait.

What can we do...

It happened Yom Kippur

Artist: Tzlil V'zemer

Album: Wake up Yidden

It happened yom kippur, as they were praying,

A truck pulled up, the sergeant was saying,

'War has broke out, we need all our men,

To serve L'man Hashem'

Young Mottel turned 'round to his father beside him,

'Father, advise me before I go fight them,

Give me a Brocho I should have hatzlocho,

And let's hope we'll meet again'.

'Oh, Mottel my son, do not be dejected,

We have a Mezuza, you'll be protected,

Set aside time during each day,

to study our Torah and pray.

Speak to the soldiers who will be with you,

Teach them B'chol D'rochecho Doe'hu,

Hashem Yishmor Tzeischos, safe and secure,

Until you'll be with us once more'.
